THE MAN BEHIND THE MIC

Born in Haiti, Eddy moved to Montreal with his parents in 1980 after they made the pivotal, life-changing decision to start anew. His journey eventually led him to Toronto, a city where his professional aspirations took root and flourished. There, he established a solid reputation as a respected Executive Consultant, a forward-thinking Entrepreneur, and an accomplished Speaker known for his ability to inspire and influence diverse audiences.

Driven by a steadfast commitment to personal and professional excellence, he became an active member of Toastmasters International and the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers. Over a span of 14+ years, he continually refined his craft, ultimately earning two of the highest honors in the speaking profession: the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation from Toastmasters International and the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) credential from the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers.

As the Founder of Heart Speak Up, Eddy is passionate about helping individuals silence the negative internal dialogues that hold them back through his compelling speeches. His journey is truly inspiring—he transformed from struggling with glossophobia to delivering impactful messages on international stages. He has shared stages in Guyana, Jamaica, Dubai, and several U.S. cities, to name a few.

With every engagement, Eddy delivers meticulously crafted messages intentionally designed to captivate attention, challenge assumptions, and ignite new internal dialogues. With clarity, depth, and unwavering authenticity, he draws audiences into the heart of the matter, encouraging reflection on the issues that shape our lives and work.
